This patient was grinding his teeth at night, which not only caused the teeth to wear down but also caused migraines,tensing of the muscles in the face, neck and shoulders as well as sporadic ear pain. The patient was taking pain medication and muscle relaxants on a regular basis.

Thanks to a special custom-made occlusal splint (night guard), the patient’s symptoms disappeared and he was able to stop taking medication.
